Volunteers are the key to our success! The Book Shop is staffed by a large group of volunteers who perform a variety of functions, from sorting the over 200,000 books we receive each year to writing Facebook and Twitter posts. Volunteers stock the shelves, price the books, cashier when the Book Shop is open, and serve on the Board of Directors. We could not be as successful as we are without the dedicated volunteer staff we have, and have had since opening in 1980.
